Small, free tools for checking the things I look at most often on client websites. No sign-up and no email address. I add new ones as I build them.
Website Checker
Enter a page address and get a prioritised list of SEO, accessibility and technical issues, each with a link to the fix or a guide. I fetch the page to scan it and do not save the address or the results. Scan a page.
Color Contrast Checker
Enter a text color and a background color to see the contrast ratio and whether it passes WCAG 2.2 Level AA and AAA for normal text, large text and interface components. It runs in your browser and nothing is sent to me. Open the color contrast checker.
UTM Link Builder
Add source, medium and campaign tags to a link so your analytics shows where visits come from. It runs in your browser. Open the UTM link builder.
A note on what these tools are
They are quick checks that point you in the right direction. They are not audits, and passing one does not make a website accessible, secure or compliant with any law. If you want a proper review, see my accessibility and ADA compliance services or my guide to ADA, the Equality Act and WCAG.
Is there a check you wish existed for your own site? Tell me and I will consider building it.
